Very sturdy thicker glass with a nice lid. like that the sides are straight up not curved so things i microwave such as rice do not overflow when the liquid boils. Definitely would buy again and as a gift!

It's glass. And it's big. It's nice to have something that is really big, has a transparent lid, is easy to get totally clean (with no seams), and is totally microwave-safe. It won't stain or get discolored. It won't warp. But it could break. Just take care to develop good habits. Always keep it over a counter or sink, not the floor. Don't subject it to too much extreme temperature, although it should be quite good in regard to that. Nothing truly lasts forever, but if you handle it right, you should be able to use it for a very, very long time.

Love this dish.... ended up buying two of them! Love that the lid is flat as easier to store. Looks nice for taking too potluck dinners, too.

I’ve been looking for a new casserole dish for awhile to replace my old one. I checked out websites and read reviews. I finally decided to get this one because it had good reviews and was just the right size. This is my new macaroni bowl and you can’t go wrong with it. Try it you’ll love it.

I bake sourdough bread. An important step when producing good sourdough bread is baking in the presents of steam. One of the easiest solutions is baking the bread in a casserole dish cover with the bottom over the bread. The sealed dish keeps the steam in dish.Of course, I can still use it as a casserole dish.

I bought this product since I wanted to make some healthy sourdough bread and I didn't have a big enough oven to put a Dutch oven in (I've a little toaster oven) and less expensive than buying a small Dutch oven for baking.The product came in early and was packaged neatly and safely in a box with enough cushioning so I received it in one (not broken piece). It's made in EU (surprisingly not in China). The 2.9 quart is perfect for making a 4 cup whole wheat sourdough bread. Any more than 4 cups would require a bigger size. The glass is thick and no issue with it breaking in the oven nor preheating it empty at 450F. If you're going to use it inverted (lid at the bottom) for baking sourdough, it's a bit slippery to handle with oven mitts on so I suggest using it normally.I haven't used it for making casserole dish yet but will do in the future. This product was eligible for Prime delivery when I purchased it. I recommend a buy for anyone interested in baking sourdough bread and you don't want to spend a lot of money for a small Dutch oven.

This is a very nice dish and the see-through top is nice. I bought it for banana pudding and it looked really nice with the wafers on top, with the lid on. It was packaged better than anything else I’ve received in my life. There is no way this is breaking in transit.

The thickness of the glass is substantial & the size with steep walls is great for my use. Expensive but probably worth the extra money.

It is strong and perfect size for my bakes. A bit pricey but great product.
