Love how easy it is
Just what we need. Attach the part to the main shower line and just attach hose when needed. No need to keep it attached. Makes life easy.

Great Product For Washing Dogs At Home
We purchased the Rinse Ace to wash our two large dogs. Fundamentally, this product provides a great foundation for dog washing at home - good water pressure, long hose for reach, ability to stop water flow, variable flow patterns, and light weight to reduce fatigue when washing multiple dogs. Installation was quick and easy, if the product fits well. I was impressed that the unit came with Teflon tape. However, the product is not perfect (diverter fit). I did not take a way a star and I will explain why below. Now on the installation/fit - The Rinse Ace comes with the hose, diverter, shower head, and Teflon tape. You first remove the existing shower head and clean off the old Teflon tape. Then apply some new tape to the shower threading on the wall shower mount (coming from the wall) and screwing the diverter to the wall mount. Next you apply Teflon tape to the threading on the diverter and screw on the previous shower head. At this point you can shower as you did before. The last step is the insert the hose extension, which you could use to wash dogs or people. This is done by pushing the hose into the slots in the side of the diverter and turning the hose until it locks into place - all very simple to this point.Where problems can occur is with the diverter, which is a plastic unit. I would have preferred a metal unit, but it seems sufficient thus far. I would worry about durability if I need to install and uninstall repeatedly. I installed the Rinse Ace into our master shower to begin with. I could not stop a small amount of leak onthe wall side of the diverter despite mutiple installation attempts, cleaning the threading on the wall mount, and single and doubling up the Teflon taping. the shower head side worked perfectly and without leak. Notably, the unit did not lead when the water was turned off. The amount of leak could be described loosely as two drops a second. Not terrible for use while washing dogs, but I did not want to deal with this as a permanent installation issue while the family showered. After washing the dogs (great performance on dog washing). I uninstalled the Rinse Ace and tried to install it in the second bathroom shower. I went through the same installation steps and found a perfect seal with the wall mount - no leak. Hmmm, apparently not all wall mounts are made equally. This makes me believe there is more variability in wall mounts that I had assumed before. I also can't blame a product for not fitting a wall mount perfectly when it apparently can fit some perfectly. I must also assume the company is aware of this and smartly provides Teflon tape to help address this issue - plus one for the company. Interestingly, the shower head in the second shower leaked. I installed the shower head from the first shower while installed in the second shower and there was no leak at all. Apparently not all shower heads are made equally either. At the end of the day, you will have to try to use this (or other) pet shower extensions and you may or may not get a good fit. You will likely not know based upon reviews as each shower and shower head may not work well with any product. You may also try to use a washer to prevent leak, although this may change your water pressure if not installed correctly.I recommend this pet shower extension as it has good features at a reasonable price point. Ultimately it fit in my shower and I think with some work in may fit in someone else's.

Easy to attach and affordable
The media could not be loaded. This item attached easily to the shower. I had no problems getting it connected. It works very well and I like that it has the ability to control the water pressure coming out. I took away one star because the hose is so stiff. It’s hard to stretch out to make it 8 feet.

Worth Every Penny
I am very pleased with this product. After reading the many reviews for it; I chose this product to bathe my Shih-Tzu, Boone. Here is what I like: it is worth the price. There are more expensive options out there but now I really don't think I need anything more than The Rinse Ace Pet Shower Deluxe PLUS. In reading the other reviews, I was very concerned about what one person experienced with the connector to the shower failing causing them to be unable to not only remove the product but to use their shower! Egads! After reading many of the other negative reviews, unless I missed one, no one else suffered this same problem. Hoping that this horrible product failure was an anomaly, I went out on a limb and bought the thing. As to ease of installation, I, luckily, have a husband who fixes things for me and he installed it. As I watched the installation, I saw that I could have done it myself. It took no time at all. The included instructions were clear.Using it is easy. Hooking and unhooking for each use takes a bit of a balancing act, if you are 5'5" and under like me, but not that bad. I like the amount of water flow, from full blast to a trickle and then completely shut off...the little slide that controls the flow is very handily situated on the handle of the shower head, right where my thumb holds it (similar to holding a garden hose sprayer). Just be careful to have it in the off position when turning on the water or you will end up as drenched as your little precious (not to mention every other surface in the bathroom). I also like that the shower head is compact so I can really control the area of the spray thereby limiting how much water gets in his eyes, ears and nose. The hose itself is long enough for his small body and I place him in the center of the tub. If I needed more hose I could move him closer to the taps. This shower attachment has also proven useful in cleaning my tub and tile surround. Happy, happy, happy! I hope you have the same happy experience as me and Boone. I will of course update this review if I have any problems with it in the future. [November 27, 2013--still no problems.]

What you see is NOT what you get!
I purchased this to replace the one we’ve had for many years, as we loved it! What was received is not what is pictured. I thought maybe it was the latest model, but it doesn’t work well at all. It has a tightly coiled hose that is less than 8ft, and the shower head is not adjustable between three modes. The only control you have is the water flow through one configuration, and it lacks any sort of pressure to really clean (we use to shower the dogs). Very disappointed and returned the product.
