KCHiLiTES 366 Overhead Mount C50 LED Bar and Bracket Kit for Jeep JK

I have been wanting to install a light bar on my 2016 JK Jeep for the last two years. I received and installed the KC 50 inch light bar with brackets today and could be happier. For the money spent it is incredibly well made. And the light output is amazing.I struggled with whether or not I wanted to spend $1,500 or more on a different light bar and very glad I didn't. After getting the KC installed I see that it would have been a complete waste of money to get anything more. The light bar is fantastic! Plus the bracket that came with the kit is very well made. Love the way it looks on the Jeep!

The light bar hits the windshield wipers when properly adjusted. You cannot use the windshield wipers and have the bar in the correct position.

Love the lights high quality! But has a slight hum to it which isn't a problem. You get use to the sound. The problem is where the wire comes into the door it pushes against the seal and lets tons of water in when it rains. I am going to get some more seals and try and fix the problem. And when you go to the car wash make sure you have a shirt or something to put up where the wire comes in. I thought i was going to flood my jeep.

I purchased this for my 2014 JK Unlimited Sport. First of all, I would like to say that anything more expensive than this is a waste of money because the light output on this is simply insane. Sure, if you absolutely have to have the most expensive 50" out there, more power to you. Anyway, at night when turned on, the KC light bar seems like it illuminates brighter than daytime. The install was straight forward and can be completed with hand tools in about an hour. The wire routing is the only thing I was disappointed about because it requires you to run half the wire next to the left side mounting bracket (instead of being concealed by routing entirely inside the mounting bracket), leaving it exposed for someone to come along and slice it in half if they wanted. Other than this gripe, I love this KC 50" bar and it definitely "makes" the look of the jeep. 4 out of 5 stars.Edit: as for the notorious "light bar whistle", mine has made nothing more than slight wind noise even all the way up to 70 mph on the freeway. No whistle. The wind noise also has to do with how the bar is angled once on the mounts, so try to find the balance of where you want to focus the light and the angle that creates the least amount of noise for your application. If you still incur wind noise or even whistle, there are various YouTube videos addressing this and how to fix.

Great light bar. The mount and light bar are top notch. The light bar is bright! I do wish there was room underneath the bracket at the bottom to run the power wire for the light bar for a cleaner install, but it's not a deal breaker. Comes with everything you need; harness, relay, switch. I don't think you could find better quality and fit in this price range.

Really enjoying this product. Easy to install and very bright. Also, for me.....it just adds to the looks of my Jeep.

My light came with instructions for the mounting brackets, but not the light itself. I'm also VERY disappointed that KC hasn't resolved the whistling issue. My light whistles as loud as a freight train, you can barely scream over it to communicate to other people in the vehicle. I've researched it on YouTube & found a few solutions that I'm going to try. The light is amazingly bright - I'll give it that.

The bar arrived on time and was packaged very securely. The documentation wasn't the greatest, but it was easy enough. The light is super bright. The only issue I have with the light is that it whistles quite a bit, even at low speeds. The brackets are heavy duty and were very easy to install. I installed this myself, but it would be useful to have a second person to help as the light bar is quite heavy.
