Surprisingly Soothing
The media could not be loaded. Such a,simple concept. And it's actually really nice. Smooth and comfortable. Highly recommend for a quick simple massage to sooth aching muscles.

It's a tool for massage. It's decent for trigger points, and works the way you would expect this tool to work.

Best hand held massage ball out there.
I tried out several hand held massage balls and this one is clearly the best. The triangular grip is easier on the hand and much more ergonomic that the round ones you commonly see. This ball is slightly smaller than others which allows a good grip and makes it versatile to use from the feet to the neck and everywhere in between. This is my second one of these - lost the first traveling. It is solid and well constructed. If you are looking for a smooth ball with a grip this one is the best. Worth every penny.

Pretty good, like having it in my roller toolbag
I've tried many types of foam rollers, lacrosse balls, rolling sticks, etc. I got this ball specifically due to the built on handhold, because sometimes laying on a roller or ball is just too much or awkward or you're tired after a workout and don't want to lift your body onto a roller. This works well. I like that it's portable, and that the ball itself is pretty firm and it does roll smoothly. The shape of the handhold allows for decent grip, but the only thing I wish was that the ball would stick out more from the handhold. Once you depress the ball into your skin, your skin kind of scrapes the edge of the handhold, which is fine because it's a silicon feeling material so it doesn't hurt, it just doesn't allow for the best pressure to be applied when rolling. That improvement would make it 5 stars. I've used on my lateral quad for IT band tightness, my plantar fascia , and my calves.
