My starter on my 50” cut Cub Cadet went bad so I called the dealer. WOW, they wanted $180.00 so I started looking and found some on Amazon, I liked the reviews and the price of this one so I ordered it. It’s very easy to remove the old and reinstall the new one, just two bolts and a nut for the wires. I’ve only used a few times since installed but it works just like the mower was new maybe even better. I can’t say how long it will last but I can replace it for the saving cost and still be happy.

I'm not really reviewing it yet. I haven't had it long enough. If it lasts longer than a month, it'll beat the last one I had. Fingers crossed 🤞, knees are bent and prayers are being sent up.7 November 2021 - it is broken. Friday 29 October 2021, it gave up the ghost. Ordered 29 July 2021. Really??🤬 I went to start in preparation for leaf mulching and the starter just whined when I turned the ignition. Sadly, I can no longer return it. I guess I just have to eat it.All the while the seller dances to the bank 🤑. Please, be careful and don't be the next in line.

This starter worked for one season. Then the retaining nut came off and allowed the drive to strip, preventing it from being put back together. Fortunately, it did not damage the flywheel, or I would really be in a bind. I have been looking for a warranty/product support tab on the Amazon listing, Sellers website, all places I can think of, to no avail. I am hoping amazon customer service will respond to this post before the 1 year warranty expires in April 22. I understand this is cheap part, but they posted the warranty, not me. If they are not willing to stand behind the warranty, you are better off to spend the extra money and buy OEM.

Ordered this starter in December and installed it .it worked great ,park the mower until time to sell. pulled it out for a customer to look at today (2/2/2021) and it started but was grinding so i shut it off and pulled the upper cover from the motor and the started had came apart and is not repairable...lost a sell ..yes it had a new battery also..dont know if i will buy from this seller again..this is just my experience use your own judgement

We have a 2011 Cub Cadet mower, it always had an issue with starting, out neighbor thought it was probably the starter. Looked at quite a few on Amazon and decided this one, actually listed our part number and all. Husband installed, and fired up the mower on the 1st try. Apparently ours, was probably bad from day one. The mower has never started better.

Apparently this is a common problem with this brand. I ordered the first starter would not work. Returned it decided to give it another run. Sent me the exchange. Shaft broke after 4 start ups. I finally returned both. And, asked for a refund. Ordered another brand. That I'm used to using. I'm a small engine mechanic. I don't have time for new parts to break down consecutively. Will not buy again. A little info for the manufacturer. Build these with a stronger shaft. Check your quality control dept.

This motor is better than the original. The one my Kohler 23hp would slow down on the compression stroke even with a new, fully charged battery. This one just spins the engine faster and without any noticeable slow down. Starts right up within 5 seconds or less. Great value and motor. Very happy customer. 😃👍

The shipping was fast. The starter was easy to install. It started the mower a few consecutive times and then the starter failed. Contacted the seller and the response was quick. The seller was easy to work with. Easy return for a refund. Was a little disappointed in the product. Could have been that 1 bad one that is in everything but the seller and the hassle free return was great and easy to work with.
