My children love this super cute storytelling and song machine! It has many different features that can be utilized in a lot of different ways. As a teacher, I am always looking for ways to educate my kids in fun and unique ways. The story time setting is perfect for modeling what fluent, expressive reading sounds like. It also works to ignite the listener’s imagination as there is so screen. They must visualize characters, settings and the events taking place. There is also a setting called Sleepytime Lullabies that I love using when I’m trying to create a calm environment like at bath and bedtime. This gift was originally purchased for my 7 month old, but my 3 and 6 year old can’t get enough of it. This product is also very durable, as it has been dropped on the hard floor many times and still continues to work. Overall, it is well worth the money!

Bought this a long time ago. It’s fallen many times. It still works. It still entertains. one of the best $27 I have spent on a toy! I highly recommend!

The battery goes fast if you do not shut it off and do not depend on the record your own stories because the littles will figure out how to record over it. BUT this is my 2 year old's favorite toy. I bought it for a road trip and it gave us HOURS of no whining. Now it is still an everyday favorite. She does ask us for help finding specific stories but she is only 2 and the product says 3 and up so I expected there to be a bit of a learning curve. There are SO MANY stories and songs and I love that it's without a screen!! If your little loves listening to stories this toy is a MUST. Do not hesitate, add it it your cart.

My daughter has had this toy for almost 3 years. Its been through the ringer and has held up tremendously! She STILL uses it every night during bed time and loves all the stories she can choose from. We especially love that its easy to travel with and small enough to take just about anywhere! 10/10 recommend if your looking for an alternative for the tonie boxes

I have been raving about this you since I got it for my daughters 3rd birthday. She is now 5 and it's still what she plays with the most. It has 25 songs and runes, 25 stories, white noises and a record your own. You can also download other stories from the website to it. The tail is the dial to turn on and move from sings to stories. She has her favorites and knows exactly what number it is. The eyes are buttons for backwards and forwards and the nose is pause. It is the best alternative to tv. She brings it in the car. It keeps her occupied while at the grocery store. She has learned the colors of the rainbow from the song. Its definitely a good toy to get for a little. St first I made the mistake of letting her listen to it while eating lunch. Big mistake. The buttons got sticky and hard to push. I would have to use rubbing alcohol to get them back to normal but that only lasted a a few days and I had to do it again. I did end up buying a second one baculause it would take a little while to actually turn on after turning the dial but I learned that rechargeable batteries don't work the best because rechargeable batteries wear out after being charged so many times. After 3 years of use, the first one started giving us an error message telling us to go to the website. We basically had to restart it but connecting it to the computer and following the directions on the website. Not sure why we got the message but I know the toy was dropped frequently. The second one we have had for a year and it's going strong. All in all we love this toy and whenever someone asks what to get their kid this is the toy I recommend. My cousin got it for her kids and I have had friends thank me for this recommendation cuz their kid loves it.

My son got this for Christmas, 6 months ago. He still uses it almost daily. I love that it has classic stories and songs that aren't tied to popular characters. The only downfall is that it is not rechargeable. We bought rechargeable batteries though.

Bought this as a Christmas present and my great grand loves it.

My 4yo daughter will not go to bed without stories/podcasts/music playing. She can operate it all on her own. She loves that she can pick a story for us to read and record for her. She was up a little late with it the first couple of nights do to being excited about something new and playing with a new toy, however she never called us in to change what she was listening to like she does when we play things on her echo. We can take this with us anywhere including places where we don’t have wifi and no longer have to leave her a phone. There are so many different options to keep her from getting bored like she has with some of the similar toys we have bought her. It also keeps her entertained in the car or anytime we have to wait some place for an extended period of time. It has been pretty durable so far. We have dropped it a bunch and there is barely a scratch on it.
