Fantastic!!!!!
The media could not be loaded. Honestly, I was worried my cat would somehow fight it off herself but nope. She just kind of accepted it as opposed to the actual plastic cones which I've previously bought and she would try to remove it. They als took away her side vision sort of which I did not like... This still allows her to eat... She's still aware of her environment which the cones kind of prohibited. This is lovely, it is big enough so she cannot lick her fur and it is comfortable for her. Trust me, I know her. Saying that thought, she does look miserable haha! I would HIGHLY recommend this item, no joke and this is a genuine review! Look at my video. I do t think she is quite grasped the fact that she's not scratching herself lol. Worth the buy!!!!!!!

10/10 Amazing product! Wish I would’ve bought sooner
I have a bengal, approx. 4.5-5kg who recently just had an abscess partially drained from his neck/cheek area. He doesn’t wear a collar because he always finds a way to take it off, same goes for the traditional plastic cones which he hates and causes him a lot of distress. This product on the other hand, slipped on so easy, he is not bothered one bit and is able to still walk and jump around freely. He even fell asleep as soon as I put it on 😂The larger size is spot on if you have a medium or larger cat, there is a lot of room for adjustment (which is very easy to do) and does not come off once you adjust it to your cats size. Not to mention how soft and cute the different options are! If you are a cat owner, PURCHASE THIS! I wish I would’ve bought this sooner, It would’ve saved me a lot of hassle and my cat stress 😭❤️

Strangulation risk after washing - warning!
This is the first one star review I've ever had to give on Amazon, if memory serves me right, and hopefully the last! This product is great for the first use - goes right over kitty's head and secures firmly (always leave space for two fingers!). It is soft and appears to be well made. However, it was a different story after having washed it. The instructions on here say "Machine Washable", but I'd take that with a grain of salt. After a wash, the drawstring expanded and it was harder to slip it through the clasp - but I didn't think this would be too much of an issue, because I could undo it again. What I hadn't noticed is that the plastic drawstring clasp had also partially melted, which meant the spring mechanism inside no longer worked (not sure how I didn't see this!). My cat had eventually managed to snake her neck around the collar and pulled fur from the base of her tail, so I decided this collar was no longer suiting its purpose and would come off. Trying to take it off was another matter! The clasp would not release, so I ended up having to pull against it firmly without injuring my cat to set her free. Naturally, my cat panicked as I think anyone would! In the end, I took the decision to cut the drawstring to set my cat free, essentially rendering the product useless until I re-drawstring it. The materials used for the drawstring and clasp of this product presents a strangulation risk, as if she had got caught on something, she likely would not have been able to get herself free because of the expanded drawstring and partially melted clasp, not allowing for easy movement. I am very disappointed in this product, and expected more from it. Ordered on the 17th March, came on the 19th, broken on the 31st!This next bit is perhaps an oversight on my part, but I would not recommend this product for those people whose pets have wounds on their lower body. My cat managed to further agitate her injury by pulling fur from the base of her tail, even with the collar on.TL;DR - drawstring expanded and clasp melted after first wash, which then became a strangulation risk as it was hard to undo the collar. Had to cut my cat free.

Would have been great if he didn't have itchy ears
Our cat recently had to have both of his eyes removed (enucleation) due to glaucoma. He couldn't tolerate the traditional cone at all, so we needed alternatives. This was the second best option for us.During the first couple of weeks there's a big risk of them pulling their stitches out, so he couldn't be left on his own for longer than a few minutes. Getting this collar on was a breeze, and he found it comfortable enough to sleep in. He didn't really seem to notice it was even there once it was on.Where it didn't work for us was taking it off. He also has itchy ears at the moment (due to start treatment as soon as his eyes have healed), and most of the time they're fine, but if you aggravate them then it starts the itching. This happened in a big way when we tried to remove this collar, because due to the shape of cats' heads it's a tighter fit coming off than it is going on.He wasn't able to kick at his ears whilst wearing it though, and he couldn't get at his eyes either. If his ears had been in a better state then I think this one might have been our winner, but if your cat has itchy ears then I'd recommend the velcro cone one made by the same company. With both options, I wouldn't feel comfortable leaving him on his own wearing it for an extended time, simply because if he did catch it on something then there's no quick release and I'd worry about him choking. But for use on journeys and for leaving him on his own for a few minutes at a time, I'd recommend it.

Best option for post surgery
We started our cat off in a recovery suit, which she hated. She basically hardly moved at all and just sat in a hunched up ball. Although this was unpleasant for her, it isn’t actually a bad idea for the first 2 or 3 days, as it stopped her from jumping around and risking popping her stitches. When we switched her to this very cute watermelon collar, she was overjoyed to have freedom of her limbs once again, and the zoomies quickly resumed. The adjustable drawstring means you can get a good fit on your individual kitty (using 2 fingers to ensure it isn’t too tight), they can run around normally, it’s comfy to lie on unlike the cone of shame and of course, they look extra cute when taking on the appearance of a watermelon, sunflower etc

Cute but not fit for purpose
It was easy for my cat to take off within a couple seconds so didn’t fit the purpose even when it is tightened.
