Automatic Fish Feeder for Aquarium - Moisture-Proof and Precision Feeding Betta Vacation Feeder, USB Rechargeable Auto Fish Food Dispenser with Timer,LCD Display

Tried several auto fish feeders, and the others (esp the ones that look like the shape of a gun dispenser) will dispense way too much food, which is a nightmare if you're using this for a trip and don't have anyone else to care and feed for your beloved pet fish. I like that you can determine how much food per feeding will be dispensed, and you can set a timer so that it feeds three different times throughout the day (or you can opt for just once).The other autofeders that I tried requires you to attach the feeder to one of the aquarium walls, which didn't work for my setup because I have fish that jump, and so, I prefer a lid over my aquarium. This feeder is excellent if you use a lid and it has a feeding hole. To do this, I placed it right above the feeding hole, and it dispenses pretty well at the time(s) you set. If you prefer to afix the feeder to your aquarium wall, it comes with a screw and stand so that you can do that too. I like the versatile options! It is wireless and charges pretty quickly, and the charge lasts a long time. The last time I charged it was almost 2 weeks ago, and I haven't had the need to charge it yet.One caveat is that though it works really really well, you might need to train/condition your fish that the food will come from the feeding hole if you don't use the hole on a regular basis or an autofeeder. After a week or so of training my fish, he knew to come up in the morning for his food. Otherwise, the food would've just floated away, dirtying the water.This autofeeder is exactly what I was looking for in terms of ease of setup, reliability, and amount of food dispensed. This will save me time and money from asking friends or others to stop by and care/feed my fish. When traveling and no one is checking on my fish, I set up a Blink camera to ensure all is well with my pet. The Blink camera and this fish feeder are a game changer for anyone looking for an auto feeder!

This is a great product. It holds fifteen portions of food for your fish and it can programmed to feed once or twice a day at specific times. The battery holds the charge for a long time and it is very easy to program and fit to your tank in any number of ways. We just came back from a week's vacation and the fish had been fed twice each day, happy and healthy! It has really made a difference because we can go off for the weekend or even for eight days and our fish will not need human supervision.

I'm very happy with this feeder. Having compartments for each feeding event makes it more certain the fish are getting the amount of food you want. It works very well. Feeding twice a day limits you to 1 week though so for longer trips I'll use this once a day and a different type for once a day. I'm much more comfortable with this one though. Just so you know that when selecting a charger, I found that chargers rated greater than around 2 amps output (I don't know the exact cutoff) or more will not charge the device. I see this as as safety feature but I was alarmed when it would not charge until I figured this out.

Once I figured out how to properly use these (the directions were a bit vague), they worked great! I was able to confidently leave my fish tank for almost a week, knowing my fish would be fed the right amount and not overfed. The timer and portion control are reliable, and the moisture-proof design kept the food fresh. A great solution for vacation feeding! One more important thing I want to add - because my tanks both have lids.I specifically chose this one because I was able to position it over the feeding hole and that was so helpful. A lot of the other types required you to leave your lid off. I’ve got some jumpers so that wasn’t an option.Four stars only because the directions were vague and had I not practiced using this on a napkin a week before I went it would’ve severely overfed my fish.

I want to feed my goldfish 3x daily, but I'm busy in the mornings preparing for work and spend the afternoons at work so I'm only available to feed them once a day. After reading reviews of different automatic feeders I decided to go with this. The food doesn't get wet in the feeder. You can put in different foods in the different compartments to give the fish variety. I think the price is fair. My only concern is that in order to change one time setting you have to go through all of them from beginning to end to make sure it sets. It's a little frustrating, but not that bad really. I also love that it's USB chargeable; less money spent on batteries.

Love, love, love this feeder. I've had automatic feeders in the past that dumped massive amounts of food in the water! This one doesn't. I only have one betta and his portion needs are not massive. This feeder allows daily feedings or every other day. I tend to feed every other day when traveling so the water doesn't get murky. I charged it upon receipt and 3 weeks later it still doesn't need charging. It fits rimmed or rimless aquariums. No complaints. Excellent purchase.

Why did you pick this product vs others?:Just the right size for my tanks. Very easy to use. The food stays dry and you can use pellets, flakes and even micro pellets. You put the right amount in that the fish will eat so there’s no leftover food. Love the easiness of setting up the timer. You can choose to feed up to 3 times a day. There’s 14 slots so if you’re gone for 2 weeks you can definitely feed them once a day with no problems. So glad I purchased 3 of them. Very very happy with it.
