Mix it until homogeneous.

The media could not be loaded. Curing shouldn't take as long as some reviews complain about. Either they had a bad batch, added too much pigment, or didn't mix it completely.Mix it until there is only one green color. No streaks of white. No spots of light or dark green. Mix it for a couple minutes like the instructions tell you and you'll have no complaints.I only used it for the 75ml cube in the photo and I'm sure larger batches will require longer mixing. You'll have over an hour before it shows any signs of setting so you'll have enough time. After properly curing, there were no bubbles or wet spots throughout the cube. There was a tacky feeling like new rubber or silicone as you'd expect. As you handle it, the silicone mold will pick up dirt and oils from your hands and lose its stickiness like tape does. If you want to get rid of the feeling faster, throw some baby powder on it or rub it on your pants. It'll pick up the fabric and lose any stickyness.I used it to make a tab for an AC return vent screen. After I made the mold, I used JB Weld for the copy. Even without mold release, I could easily remove the copy. It's not a complex part but it was able to pick up fine texture details like where the paint on the original was chipped. The silicone is also strong enough to cut open, grab the part, and snap back into place for another copy.Any imperfections in the copy were from my lazy mold making and not getting the bubbles out from under the part. There was some cleanup involved, but a little extra shaking or prep work would have saved me time trimming later. The mold walls are convenient, but use better tape or another method to seal the bottom and sides. The silicone is very low viscosity and will pick up tiny details. It'll also find every little crack and try to pour out.

Works well

Did exactly what I wanted it to do. Made a mold out of a lure plug to make fishing lures. Easy to work with and doesn’t smell.

Look Ma, No Bubbles!

This silicone kit is about as easy as it gets. Simple 1:1 by volume mixing. Just mix the A&B parts together for about 3-5 minutes, then pour around the object you are molding. Reading the instructions, the product claimed bubbles would all go away after 2 hours, which made me very skeptical, but I have to say I was pleasantly surprised because I expected to need to use a vacuum chamber in order to pull bubbles, but to my delight it was not necessary.I have used Smooth-On products in the past & did not have the same luck at all. Considering there are a ton of similar products on the market & all are around the same general price, I would gladly purchase this again due to the ease of use & especially the lack of bubbles in the final product.

Absolute garbage, not even worth one star.

I cannot stress enough how dumpster quality this silicone is. It is a massive waste of time. Consistently wasting time and resources. The entire top layer will cure and anything underneath remains wet and literally does not cure. I have tried to make at least 10 different molds with this product and maybe 2 of them actually came out fully cured and not wet and slimey. Do not waste your time. I know the price makes it seem like a great deal, but what an absolute nightmare with junk materials.

Use this one

I use this all the time to make molds. It’s easy to use. I love it.

Takes a LONG time to cure

Probably need accelerator, but not positive if it's tin or plat, and being these China-Origin Amazon vendors it's a gamble either way.Pretty solid stuff after 24 hrs, but even a half inch deep (maybe 4x4) portion took like 6 or 8 hours to cure, and even then any parts not exposed to air end up being gooey until they're exposed. I'll use the rest of it, but plan on like a 2 day cure for anything substantial. The details and durability are good enough that I won't return it, but it says "fast curing" and that's a joke. Hence the 2 stars. If you plan on using any type of leak-able mold housing you better know what you're doing. Their "kit" is useless. Gave it a shot for experiments sake and it confirmed what I suspected, it's more of the "added value" junk attempts. Don't use their tape. Use sticky wax/casting wax and know how to apply a bead of it.

Great deal! Instructions could be more detailed, but makes great silicone molds

Great for the price! Save yourself some trouble and don’t try to add mica powder as pigment to this product. It worked for me a couple times and didn’t set the other couple times... for this price I’m happy with my molds turning out well without any pigment (makes resin pouring a bit easier when they aren’t pigmented anyways)

Better for dice-making than Smooth-On

Very flexible silicone. Great for popping out or demolding the object after you are finished using the mold. No bubbles when using a pressure pot. I do 45 PSI, which works for my resin & this silicone. I haven't tried without the pressure pot.
