Good buy
Really good buy. Easy to use and ensures good tight seal to keep stuff fresh. Using it for fresh roasted coffee beans. Looks very smart too with a Matt finish so that it doesn’t show fingerprints.

Great value, a pleasing product and does the job well
We all know that keeping coffee away from air helps it to maintain its flavour and quality. Whilst I doubt I'm refined enough to be able to tell if the coffee is six days or six months old, I nevertheless was interested in spending a bit of money on storage to address this. It seems like you can spend any money on vacuum coffee solutions but at £20 this seemed about the sort of price I want to pay, and going off the reviews and frankly being German-made, I had some reassurance that it was going to do the job. The item is a pleasing colour and weight, it fits in well in the cupboard and is stainless steel. Once you figure out the lid, which only takes a second really, it's very simple to use. Does it do the job? I suspect it does, there's lots of air rushing out of the whole when you push the lid down and once you've locked it shut with the button, you cannot lift the lid out again until you unlock it. Is it 100% a vacuum? Lord knows frankly and I doubt anyone can really tell you for certain. But I'm happy with it as a way to nicely store my beans in a manner that probably helps them to stay fresh.

Keeps Coffee Fresher, Longer – Simple and Stylish Too
I’ve been using the KC Kitchen & Co. Coffee Canister for a couple of weeks now, and it’s made a noticeable difference to the freshness of my coffee. The vacuum lid is the real standout and easy to use and creates a tight seal that actually holds, but don’t carry it by the handle!Beans that used to go a bit stale after a few days now keep their aroma and flavour much longer. The 1kg capacity is generous and ideal for anyone who buys beans in bulk or gets through a lot of coffee. I also appreciate the minimalist design, it looks smart on the counter without screaming for attention. One small quibble: the vacuum release can be a bit stiff at first, especially with slightly damp hands. Not a dealbreaker, but worth noting.Overall, it’s a solid, well-built coffee canister that does what it claims. If you care about keeping your beans fresh, this is a great buy.

expensive but worth it.
As with most coffee equipment now, it's expensive but worth the money. It keeps my beans fresher for longer, preserving that all important crema and taste. This comforably stores 1KG of beans with room to spare. Quality was great for my unit, nicely coated, no imperfections or dents.

Great way to keep coffee beans fresh
I was a little sceptical about this but it really works. Coffee beans in at the start of the month and protected by the suction lid, mean that they stay fresh through the month.I buy fresh beans in 1kg bags from a local roastery and therefore this size was needed rather than keeping half in the bag until there was room - I went for the bigger jar. This could be used for any produce you wished to keep fresh. I use at ambient temperature but could also go into a fridge as well I suppose.German brand I think and as I would expect, super well made.Happy to recommend having used for last 5 months.
