These special sports socks are truly amazing. I’m not diabetic but I do suffer from swollen ankles due to being a full time wheelchair user.I wanted these socks for going swimming and to the gym - mainly for looks if I’m being honest.These provide a stretchy and loose fitting around the ankle which is vital for me so I don’t get purple rings that I would from an ordinary size.***WARNING: Do not use in a dryer!!! ***It’s not stated on the description but be aware this item VERY is prone to shrinkage and can’t be stretched back to size. You simply end up with baby sized socks! From now on I’ll simply hang them up to dry after they’ve been through the washing machine.They are comfortable, practical and of a very high quality. So good in fact I’ve ordered more.They are thin cotton material with a towelling layer on the sole. I really couldn’t recommend these more highly and have no hesitation in awarding 5 stars both for quality and value.**************Information for UK Buyers: ***************These “trainer socks for diabetics” weren’t available anywhere in the UK so I used Amazon America.These socks are equivalent to a 4-8 UK size.I have Women’s size 6 feet and my feet are quite wide. I wore these socks with size 7 trainers. I tend to wear a size or 2 larger, very loose fitting shoes in a size 8 and apart from the trainers all my shoes are “diabetic or orthopaedic loose fitting”.Luckily Amazon allows you to purchase in pounds Sterling so you avoid the bank currency conversion surcharge. Very useful.The total including standard shipping was £12.86 (Purchased November 2018). This includes taxes so no import duty applies on receipt of parcel.However for ease, I’d highly recommend choosing the “international option” when choosing a different country from the drop down menu. It will default to the American site showing only items that can be shipped to the UK and shows all prices in USD so remember to change this in the options to GBP. You will get the final price and total landed cost in GBP whichever option just before the final point of sale if you opt to pay in GBP.Having Amazon Prime in the UK means you can only get the benefits of Prime delivery in your home country (so no next day or 1 hour delivery of course) but don’t let this put you off using Amazon from international countries. Very soft - cuff just right, not too snug as to create a dent.

These are very soft, medium thickness, feels very nice. I have bought this brand before and I loved them, that is why I ordered these. Those socks lasted for years, I believe these will as well.

These socks are so soft and fit perfectly. My shoe size is 9.5. They are cute too.

I bought these socks looking for quarter socks that weren’t too tight around my ankles and with toe seams that didn’t rub on my toes. These fulfilled what I was looking for, with one exception. I wear a ladies size 7, and these socks are too long, not only in the foot, but the ankle portion is a bit longer than any quarter socks I have previously worn. I’m able to adjust the socks a bit so they don’t bother me too much, and they would certainly fit those who wear a larger size. The sock opening is very stretchy, making them easy to put on, and the elastic doesn’t dig in at all. The toe seams aren’t noticeable at all and they are very soft. Overall a nice sock, although it seems to run a bit big.

These socks are very comfortable. They stretch when my feet swell. I'm diabetic, and these are very comfortable..

My mother and I both wear these, me more recently; seem to help swollen legs, feet. Find them really comfortable. Doesn’t feel tight around top.

These socks are so soft and comfortable. This was the 3rd package I bought, just so I'd have plenty on hand. I have one ankle that swells and they're the only socks I've worn that don't leave a crease around my ankle.

These are great! They are really comfy and because I had thick ankles (I refuse to call them cankels) they are loose at the top but do not slip down. Perfect

I have been wearing diabetic socks for years. Medipeds have always been my first choice. They are harder and harder to find. I was able to find them on Amazon (thank you, thank you, thank you) to replenish my stock as I have had to dispose of most of my old ones. They are so soft and feel wonderful on my feet. I know they will not cause me any problems with my feet and legs. Perfect!
