Excellent Mac replacement keyboard!
I have gone through 2 Apple Magic keyboards and while I like them they don't last and the letters fade and disappear over time. My white keyboard is mostly just blank keys now and my newer black keyboard has lost most of the left shift key and the 'A' key, with signs of other keys fading as well.I went down the mechanical keyboard route but frankly it doesn't serve Mac's very well at all and I bought and returned two keyboards, each priced well over £100.My solution is this wired Cherry keyboard.Yes I lose a USB-C port but I plug it into the USB port in my monitor so there's no impact to the other things I have plugged directly into my laptop. Being wired also means no recharging, and even better, no Bluetooth weirdness (which was obvious in both keyboards I tried, particularly in the most expensive). It looks coo, feels great and isn'y annoyingly noisy! It's taken a few days to get used to because it's a different thing to the Magic keyboard, but at this price point it makes perfect sense and I'm already comfortable with the new typing experience.I highly recommend this keyboard!

No more bankrupted by batteries!
I just couldn't take it anymore. The tiny Apple 'magic' keyboard that needs new batteries every 2 weeks [I write a lot of essays and the keyboards are in constant use]. finally a proper full size keyboard with a number panel on the right that you only need to pay for ONCE! No more endlessly splashing out on batteries that are rising stupidly in price! It's a proper keyboard that does what it is suppose to do, typing speed is great, it's bright, it's easy to use [don't really see how it could be difficult to be honest] it is light and 'touch typing' responsive, no need for heavy thumps!Stop paying the needless 'battery tax' get one of these wonderfully cheap and fully functional keyboards, plug it in and don't look back!

Very good
I have been using an Apple Bluetooth keyboard that I got with a Mac in 2011 and hadn’t wanted to ever change it , it’s been used for a couple of Macs since but a couple of keys stopped working and my Mac mini occasionally doesn’t see it, (annoying when logging in!) so I decided to buy a new keyboard.I went for plugged in rather than wireless given the sometimes odd behaviour of the Mac mini. I recall Cherry as being high quality replacements for IBM PC back in the ‘80s so curious as they have been around a long time. They aren’t cheap but Amazon had an open box one at a reasonable price so I bought it.Very good quality, sturdy, quiet and just about every good thing you can add to a review. Got a long cable too which is good as my Mac is a distance from my desk.

Better than the Apple genuine wired keyboard, and 25% the price
I dont use it for gaming, it is definitely not meant for that, with low travel keys, and not having the responsivess of a gaming keyboard, but I didnt buy it for that.It was bought to replace the a genuine Apple wired keyboard. I swear blind this is the same keyboard, just without an apple badge. But Apple charged £120 for it, so I could have got several for the price of this.Looks good, very nice to use and very quiet in use, which matters a lot to me. Plus the " and @ etc, are all in the right place, ignoring that Apple do not seem to understand the phrase UK layout, very well.Overall, it is just great.

Its alright for the price. Expected nicer keys for a Cherry branded keyboard.
Its OK. The keys are stiff and require more pressure than an apple keyboard for instance. They are almost spongy in feel. Also the feet to raise the back of the keyboard are stick on. So once attached you cannot remove them.I paid a little more for a brand I recognised, but wasn't worth it imo.It has a few dedicated keys like a lock key to lock the screen which is handy on a mac.

Great replacement for the Apple Wired Keyboard
I've used an Apple wired keyboard for years with my MacBook until it recently had water damage and a few keys stopped working. I refused to pay £130 for a wireless full Apple keyboard and I found the Cherry option. I am blown away at the functionality of it, feels very familiar, great sound of the keys and quiet just like the Apple model. It sits slightly higher with the optional stick on legs but it is still VERY comfortable! For an self proclaimed Apple snob... this is a great bit of kit!

Beautiful and good
I love this keyboard. The keys are not tall so it's easy to use. I also like that it's aluminium finished and not plastic.

Nice keyboard but no lock for standard function keys
Great keyboard, nice feel, much cheaper than the official Apple keyboard. However, one big caveat if you use Fn keys a lot then beware that there is no way to lock them into normal "Fn" mode. The "Use F1, F2, etc. keys as standard function keys" has no effect. Even using Karibener Elements to remap them does not work effectively. This is what Cherry support say about the issue: "Unfortunately, the function that you require isn't currently available with this product I'm afraid and this is something specific only to Apple keyboards - 3rd party products do not have access to the 'FN' lock, which will allow those commands to be used without holding down the FN key." So, if the Fn keys are important to you then look elsewhere...
