A nice little screen with a wide variety of applications.
An ideal little display for Arduino projects, and similar.

An OK LCD Module, However the backlight has a simple mistake in it.
The media could not be loaded. The transistor powering the backlight is an NPN, but the resistors for it are wired as if its a PNP transistor, so the transistor is always "switched on".In order to get the backlight to function as expected (controlled by the BL pin) you will need to cut the trace to cut the trace connecting R6 to VCC (the side closest to the breakout pins) and connect that side of the resistor to GND (see attached pic for my mod, ignore all the glue on the module, I only figured out that the BL pin did nothing in the stocvk config after I had put it into a project)If you don't want to cut the trace you could tombstone R6 and wire the free standing end of the resistor to GND.After doing this you can control the backlight as expected (See attached video)

Display simply did not work, so was returned

Works great with raspberry pico and STM32F051
Trying with TFT_ESPI on a pico it didn't seem to work without issues, so probably needs more code tweaks. When trying on an STM32F051 and the adafruit arduino library it works great. The silkscreen has labels for I2C but this is definitely an SPI display!

Avoid!
Avoid! Very poor packaging, just thin bubble wrap, upon opening the screen had a clear banding even turned off and when powered the defect was obvious. The screen protector had also previously been removed. I suspect I have been sent an already defective second hand screen.
