Perfect ethernet connections
Bought after the ethernet port on my motherboard stopped working and this took its place perfectly.

Good solid card if you use the latest drivers.
For those looking to make the jump to 2.5GBe this isn’t a bad choice. However as others have said only use the Realtek drivers that are available on the Realtek website. The windows driver version which are automatically installed are unreliable. The chap that mentioned the Qnap 10gb/2.5gb 6 port switch is not wrong but these issues appear to have been resolved in the new Realtek driver and connecting to one of the 10gb ports. Up until then I was occasionally having issues with it too.No matter which card you pick drivers are all quite new and the usual bleeding edge issues will apply.

Substantial improvement
This has hugely improved my wife Ethernet speed, her old motherboard has a slow connection speed and this has just worked. Windows 11 advice, don't need a driver, if it doesn't recognize the 1st time, go into network setting, advance setting and do a network reset, reboot system and it will just start.

Very minimally packaged - no box just a bit of transparent plastic. Extra metal frame included but not entirely sure what that's for.Super easy to install if you've ever done any tinkering with a desktop PC. Put it in the slot, screw the bracket and you're done.Works as intended, Windows 10 supports it out the box. QR code on the unit itself to get the drivers also if needed.Full speed negotiated as advertised.Not much more to say!
