I didn't expect this scoop to bring me such joy. I know I sound a little extra, but hear me out. Firstly, I am obsessed with oil slick and rainbow shifting items. That is such eye candy to me. So, I bought this thinking I wouldn't be too upset if it looked a little cheap and didn't last long. What I received was gorgeous and solid! It is heavy and will last. I've had this around 8 months and digging into ice daily there isn't a scratch on it. Shiny as the day it arrived. And seriously, I can't help but smile everytime I open my freezer to grab some ice. It's just one of those things that is fun and practical. I think this is would also be such a great gift also.One last note before I leave, no one contacted me for a review. I'm just this passionate about my rainbow steel scoop. Hey, it's the little things in life. Ok, I'm done here, I'll let myself out.

Its metal. It's a scoop. Its for scooping things that need to be scooped. Out of all the scoopers that I have had, this by far is the best scooper.

Nice compact size. Well shaped. Comfortable thick handle. Quality stainless material. Very useful in freezer ice drawer. Good value. I would buy again if needed but this will last a lifetime.

I love solidly made things that never need replacing. This is one of those things.I've had a number of aluminum scoops this same size, and they work really well. They're light weight and durable--but you can't put them in the dishwasher, so I got this one to replace those when they became dedicated to garden uses outside. Holy moly, this is WAY nicer. It's got heft to it, and is solidly built, but also has a nice, professional-grade finish and a handle whose weight helps to counterbalance the contents when you have a full scoop (that keeps you from accidentally catapulting brown sugar into the air, for example).Would highly recommend.

This scoop is satisfactory for its purpose. It is an appropriate size to scoop ice for most glassware.

I leave this in my freezer and it's the perfect size to scoop ice into my nalgene or glasses.
