Makes the BEST ICED TEA
I bought this in February and now it is September I waited to rate this since some people have had problems with breakage but I love brewed iced tea so had decided to try it. And I love it! Now I am careful with it also since the carafe is made from glass that seems to be fairly thin. But the device is easy to use and brews great iced tea. I do not make anything else with it and cannot speak to other beverages. If you like brewed iced tea and can be a bit more careful with the appliance I recommend based on my experience alone.

Perfect tea maker !!
Beats my old Mr Tea … hands down!! I use it twice a week to make a perfect homemade peach tea with my favorite tea bags & sweeteners. I’d buy it again for sure!!

Nice Iced Tea Maker with one flaw with mine
I am happy with this Iced Tea maker, but always concerned that I am going to accidentally crack or break the glass carafe. My one issue with it is the lever that you can use to adjust the brew strength. My lever has never stayed in the position that I put it in, it always ends up sliding on its own to the right to full strength, it won’t stay where I adjust it to, so not happy with that, but it brews iced tea nicely. I also like that the water reservoir is marked with how much water to add to the machine and also marked on the glass carafe with how much ice to fill the carafe with before brewing.

Pitcher will break
Believe the reviewers who say the pitcher will break. We knew what reviewers had said but we ordered it anyway since it was attractive and supposedly made good tea. With each use we carefully transferred ice into the pitcher but it still broke after several months. (An unnoticed hairline crack in the bottom allowed tea to leak all over the shelf fridge leaving an awful mess.) Against our better judgement, we ordered a replacement pitcher for $39.99 (!) and were again extremely careful with the ice placement. It too broke, this time the bottom breaking all over the counter and everything sitting on the counter and running into the kitchen drawers. Very disappointing. We can't recommend this iced tea maker.

Delicious iced tea - just use a different pitcher
I’ve had mine for quite awhile now. Maybe 6 months. It is so easy to use, especially since iced tea is the beverage of the day here.I like the filter well enough, but have considered using disposable filters, the kind that’s used for coffee. Haven’t done that yet.The water line is well marked and I’ve only poured too much in once because I wasn’t paying attention. Pay attention and there will be no problems.I do NOT add ice to the pitcher. Cold water only and then add ice to the glasses. Some have complained about the included glass pitcher. I noticed the first day that the pitcher is too thin and fragile and I don’t use it. Instead, I use a sturdy plastic 1/2 gallon pitcher from a well-known company. I haven’t had any problems at all.I also use the maker 2x in order to have a full gallon of tea. No lemon, no sugar, just delicious ice cold, iced tea once I pour it over a glass full of ice.In all, I love this iced tea maker, except for the included glass pitcher.

A Daily Essential for the Past Year!
I purchased this iced tea maker in June 2024, and it’s become part of my daily routine, sometimes twice a day! I also bought the extra glass pitcher, which makes it easy to always have cold tea ready in the fridge. I typically run the machine three times per brew cycle to fill the carafe, and it produces flavorful, beautifully clear tea every time.In the beginning I used ice, but found it unnecessary since I always keep a cold pitcher ready. While the included glass pitcher is a bit thin, it's held up surprisingly well to regular use with no cracks or issues, just handle with care. The spout occasionally drips from the side, but adjusting the angle of the pour fixes it. I did have a problem early on with cloudy tea, but switching to Red Rose tea bags and using filtered water solved that completely. (Louisianne and Lipton didn’t produce the same clarity for me.)After a year of heavy use, the filter basket started to clog despite regular cleanings with vinegar and baking soda. I contacted customer support, and they were responsive and helpful, providing a link to purchase a replacement basket ($9 plus $10 shipping). All in all, this iced tea maker has exceeded my expectations and become a kitchen staple. I would definitely recommend it!

Great product
I love this product. We drink a lot of iced tea in my house so if you need something easy to use this is the product. It is so easy to fill with the right amount of tea bags in the built in filter. If is nice to not have to guess on how much ice to put in it or how much water. It functions so well for what I needed. The taste of tea after it brews is great.
