Has been 6+ months since the purchase of: LG 9 Kg, 5 Star, AI Direct Drive Technology, Steam, 6 Motion DD & Wi-Fi Fully-Automatic Front Load Washing Machine (FHP1209Z5M, Intelligent & Convenient Fabric Care, Allergy Care, Middle Black).Good:- Delivery and installation was good- Works well - removes stains well, dries cloth also reasonably well- No scary vibration with additional stand that installation person recommended and we purchased.Bad (or Not so good):- Too many options, controls (not specifically this model) may create pain in continuous adjustments.- At times, we want to reduce the temperature, but somehow it is indirectly linked to other settings and can't be controlled completely

Super product. Silent wash and ultra performance. Blindly go for this washing machine. LG is now a fast selling brand in washing machine along with other appliances. Direct Drive is ultimate technology with silent washing of clothes.

The media could not be loaded. I’m facing serious issues with my LG washing machine:The clothes are not getting cleaned properly – they come out completely dirty and wet.The tub remains filled with water and the clothes are soaked and do not dry at all.Water keeps flowing continuously from the drain pipe, even after the machine is turned off.I raised a complaint with the LG team. A technician inspected it and confirmed that there is an issue, but said a higher-level technician will come and check it further.I’m afraid to wash any clothes now, because the machine is making even clean clothes worse.I feel like I made a mistake choosing this product. Ordered this machine after my top load Samsung started giving issues.This is my first front load. It uses very less water and electricity compared to my previous machine.9 KG size is adequate for a family of 4. Anything less would be a slight compromise.The built quality is quite good and the machine is quite heavy too. Really difficult for a single person to move it but that's okay.The technician tried to visit the same day but I was out so they arranged for another person next day.He explained all the functions and installed the machine quickly. I forgot to ask about extended warranty by LG though.The ThinQ app is great to use. It gives real time data of the load and allows to Play/Pause, change a few functions and most importantly shows how much energy was used.I have put 5-6 loads till now with average of 10-11 cloths and the machine has used just 552 Wh of electricity.I got this machine for around 32500 after 1100 of exchange, 6000 HDFC card discount and Amazon Coupon of 2500.This machine is super value for money.Now only hope that this machine works for a long time.P.S. Use liquid over powder for any machine for a better experience. Ariel has a good discount. Rs 144/Litre. 4L + 2L Combo.Update: 20th Sept 2024After 13 days of using it. I noticed that the machine is kind of making a high frequency buzz sound during some of the operations. Not sure what that is. Kind of concerned now.
