Excellent Value
Perfect size fire kit to keep in the car for emergencies + molly on a go-bag or strap to a belt. Olive drab nylon, stitching & zippers are very good - the bag alone is worth the price. In addition to included sparker & jute rope (dip in wax), this kit fits a Bic lighter + 1 tallow candle + 20 Black Beard fire plugs, 1 fire stick, 12 storm matches + cheapo break-blade razor knife + 2 tic-tac containers stuffed with Vaselined cotton & 1 with dryer lint + 0000 steel wool pad + 9v battery + match book + straw for tinder/bellows + lip balm + fresnel lens + char cloth + 3x5 index cards & grocery bag strips (dip in wax) + folded aluminum foil + golf pencil + ranger bands + vile of alcohol + glow stick + zip seal bags for some items. Your survival knife will provide plenty of tinder shavings, but this convenient fire kit bag will get you through all the tough conditions you could encounter. Very much recommend this product to check off the "Combustion C" on your "10 C's List" of survival preparedness.

I bought this cause, you know, the apocolypse
If you, like me, are aware of the impending doom bearing down upon us, then you need a little fire starting bag and ferro rod. The bag holds stuff just fine, and i believe when the emp hits us it will still hold stuff, thats why i bought it. The ferro rod is meh...so if you really want to survive our impending societal collapse get a good ferro rod man...If however you occasionally start a fire in the yard or once every three years at a campsite, like me, to convince yourself that, yes, you will survive the things that wipes out most of humanity, then this is perfect for you.

Starts fires
The rod comes with a coating that will need some scraping off before being able to emit a good shower of sparks. That said, it will create plenty of sparks and the ropes ignite very easily! Everything works as described and I'm very happy to have it to add to my pack

Great fire-kit
I have been trying to build a great fire-kit for my bushcraft gear for a long time. This one is the perfect size and has the ability for me to add more items as needed. Can easily expand to a pocket survival kit.I would love to add a pic of the items I added, but cant seem to upload pics.

Like others have said, this is a nice package! The bag is large enough to hold emergency fire starters and a pocket knife! Great value!
