The media could not be loaded. Ok I Just have one gold fish in a medium size bowl for which I decided to buy this automatic feeder as I am planning to go on vacation. Last time I went on vacation it was a pain to give my fish bowl to my relative and again collect it back from them. So I got the product delivered well ahead of time as expected from amazon. I have captured some images and videos here for others who are looking into buying it. Its just day 1 and all looks good and working as expected. There are 5 different settings to decide quantity of feed. I feel the first level (its just manual opener which opens from narrow to wide for each level) itself is too wide and can drop more than 40 pellets of feed to my fish. I see its too much so I decided to just stick a cello tape to cover half of the opener in level 1 so the output is restricted to just 20 pellets approx. You can see that in video where I set timer to trigger at 9:35 and it did by dropping pellets into tank.Also please take atmost care in fixing it on top of tank. If you have tank no issues but if you have small bowls then make sure you not screw it tight. I just did that mistake and broke the bowl and immediately went to shop to buy a new one and fixed it again.

I really like this product.. it's easy to understand and works flawlessly. I've tested it for 2 weeks now (1 away from home)Buyers will need to implement/consider the following:Please get accustomed to how much food is released into the water, you can control the amount by narrowing the food exit using the slider. It's easy for new buyers to keep the slider completely open and allow 3 rotations per feeding.. trust me you'll over feed your fish. Keep the slider at half and allow 1 rotation per feeding and 3 feeding per day if you have juvenile fish. 1-2 feedings per day for larger fish.If you have fish that splash around when fed then please use scotch tape to seal off the battery and Digital area so that water doesn't enter it.I have Oscars who have observed the device at work and the moment it rotates they will jump and hit it, trying to make it remove more food. Smart fish I know. But the intensity with which they hit has caused the cap to fall into the water with the food in it and I had a terrible time at 4am cleaning the tank :)I then used more scotch tape to shield the sides of the rotating cup with waterproof sponge so that the impact of their hits is minimized. Has worked so far.

this has a long life and works well . Have been using it for over 5 years and still working . Have used it for 20 days absence as well . No problem at all .

The product is a total crap. Here are my observations.1. The motor gets stuck in every few rotations. So at set time I mostly find the feeder stuck in a position. It drains the battery once it’s stuck2. The feed container fixes very loose on motor shaft. So if you are careful, entire food would drop in the aquarium.

When you keep this over the tank, the water vapor gets into fish food and gets fungus. Tanks have water heater and it will evaporate water which gets into the fish food, so not that great design. It should have slider kind of thing and feeder should remain at some distance from tank. Food can fall onto the slider and than slides into tank.

Great equipment for weekends and vacations.Reliable. Simple to Use.Only issue is, if you keep the feeding slot too small (narrow as its a slit) food won't come out. Even micro pellets. And if you leave just little bit more space than 1 pellet, a lot of food is let out.You have to regularly test how kuch food comes out with each rotation and compare it to you daily feeding. Keep adjusting till you reach that sweetspot. Saying that, everytime you remove the feeder for refilling, the hole has to be closed. So start again. :)

I have been using the automatic fish feeder for a week. There are five time settings and number of rotation settings.Pros :1. Perfect solution to provide timely fish food2. Amount of feeding can be controlled by the opening of the feeder mouth. This ensures that the amount of fish food is appropriate to feed fishes without contamination of water3. Operates on battery so reliable when power cuts are a problem.4. Useful when you are travelling.5. Feeder bucket is big enough to accomodate 10 days feeding.6. Can be kept on top of the tank lid with minimum opening to the feeder window. Check photos7. 24 hour timer can be set so feeding can be at equal interval timesCons1. You tend to forget to refill the feeder bucket as the color is opaque2. No Indication on if the feed has been done timely. No traces ever seen3. Difficult to guess on how many feeds can be sustained with the remaining battery power.If you are planning for a long vacation, i would suggest to replace new batteries and ensure the feeder bucket is full.
