My Magic Writing Machine-worth every penny.
It was supposed to arrive in a month when I ordered it, but it Was sitting in my doorstep in less than a week! The shipping package was sturdy and extremely well insulated against any damage. I think this company could ship a dozen eggs without cracking open a chicken, it was so carefully packaged. This rockstar was together in 5 minutes. FIVE!! And that’s despite all my thumbs and complete disinterest in reading assembly instructions. The levers to move the desk and seat up, down, and slidey, took an OOMPH to move on the first try-sort of like my grandfather trying to get out of a chair-but after the initial movement, also like Grandpa- everything was gliding smoothly and still does. The bike is silent. i could hear my kid trying to heist some Oreos and replace the cookie jar lid easily.I like that you can track miles, time, and about 5 other things on a digital read out, located on the base of the bike, between your legs. However, the readout on the bike body is hard to see. If it was backlit it would be easier to stare down between my knees without having to squint and shine my phone flashlight.I was worried about the legs-but there was absolutely no problem. Those things are sturdy.Bike seat is comfortable, although I don’t sit allllll day. I’m on and off, usually doing a half hour to an hour at each stint. The level of the desk is great too- the perfect height for typing (the wrist guard is comfy) and I don’t have neck issues from looking down. Very ergonomically pleasing. I did order a gel seat, but it didn’t fit and wasn’t really necessary anyway, so it’s on its way back to the Amazon.Oh- the castors are a bugger to move on carpet. Think: briar embedded in sheep dog’s hair. But, this is a bonus, as I don’t plan to move it around much. The drink ‘holder’ is strange- a shallow disk. You’d have a leg-scorching case in court if you tried to stabilize a cup of coffee on that thing, but I’m there to work anyway. Not to guzzle. Besides, getting up to get another cup is a good butt break.I’m in love with this bike, and it’d be nice if I was getting paid to say that, but I’m not. That being said, I recommend it all day long and five times on Sunday. It’s a great bike, sturdy, comfy, and I’m getting some movement. Worth every penny!

I like this Desk Bike!
I'm going to start this product review by saying I like this desk bike even more than I thought I would. I work from home, so wanted something that I could use throughout the week to get some movement and exercise in my office. Here are some things that I really like:1) It arrived quickly and was easy to assemble.2) I really like the size of the desktop on it. Not too big and not too small.3) This desk bike tracks your speed, time, calories, distance, total distance (miles over time), and RPM (wheel speed). The little screen flashes to the next category automatically every 5 seconds. To reset it for each day, just hold down the black button until it beeps, but the bike still retains your total overall milage.4) This desk bike is very easy to wheel around. I love this feature! I have several computers and laptops on my office desk, and I can just roll the desk bike up to the laptop or computer wherever I'm working at. Then, I put the mouse and mouse pad (plus keyboard if needed) on the bike's desktop and work from there. A person can also put the actual laptop on the bike's desktop, too. There's plenty of room for it.5) I really like this form of exercise because I don't have to think about it while I work; I just pedal. I find, while I'm working, I can usually bike (pedal) 10 miles in about 84 minutes. So, I bike one mile in about 8 minutes and can finish 10 miles in just over an hour... and I'm just pedaling along at a leisurely pace, not going fast, with the tension knob set at 1. My current goal is to start biking at least 14-miles-per-day because I read that's equivalent to approximately 6,000 walking steps, which is a solid daily walking goal.6) Overall, the desk bike's sound is quiet during pedaling, but I have not used it during a business meeting yet, so can't say if anyone else can hear it over a phone call. I think they probably would not hear it, or it would sound like quiet background white noise, like an air conditioner. There are only a few minor "preference-type" comments that I'll make.1) You'll probably need to wear shoes or slippers with a harder sole when biking. The pedals are sturdy, but not comfortable without footwear (as would be expected with any bike).2) The desktop and seat are just slightly wobbly when pedaling (although I haven't tried to tighten anything since set up). The slight wobble is fine for doing laptop or other general work, even most writing, or just watching TV. But if you're doing something that needs extreme precision, you might have to stop pedaling for a while. Having said that, this desk bike seems very sturdy overall, even with a little wobble.3) The drink holder below the bike's desktop is not particularly deep. It holds my water bottle but it's not nearly as deep as a car's normal drink holder would be.Overall, I'm very pleased with this desk bike for the price and would recommend it!

Sturdy, super easy to put together
So far (just purchased recently) - it was very easy to put together & comes primarily assembled. It's compact and easy to move around the room. It's also very sturdy - not wobbly at all. I did use while on a video call and you can obviously tell that I am pedaling, but I'm thinking that's probably more my fault than the bike. lol. It is not loud or squeaky. You hear the pedals going, but it's a soft sound. I like that it has different levels of resistance, although if I'm using while working, which is the primary reason I purchased it, it might be a little much to have it on a higher level (at least when first getting started). Overall, I highly recommend.
